Since the first time I squished fingerpaint between my hands in preschool, I've been an artist. I thoroughly enjoy the process of creating in it's many different forms. Currently the particular medium I’ve been focusing on is photography though sometimes mixed up with a bit of traditional fine art.I also work with graphic design in both forms of print and web.

In the past I had been involved with many types of fine art but in 2003 I began to formally pursue a degree in art and design while living in San Diego, California. (compliments of my military careered and endlessly supportive husband, who also happens to be an inspirational artist and photographer.)

It was at school in San Diego that I took my first photography class. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful professor named Annete Fournet, a renowned photographer, who inspired my interest in photography. She taught me the disiplines of the traditional darkroom which in turn gave me a solid foundation to move onto digital technology.

I’m settled in Hampton Roads Virgina now, still working on my graphic arts degree and pursuing my newest venture, "Wayman and Wayman Fine Art, Photography and Design",a joint project with my husband L. A. Wayman.
